I always had a keen sense for composing an image – a snapshot that locks in a moment in time that you may never see again. After I took my first photography class almost fifteen years ago, I saw the world in a totally different perspective. Every moment would be composed in my eye and snap in my head and be imprinted in my brain – sometimes I would have the camera with me and I was lucky enough to capture the moment forever on film.
I’ve been practicing music for 25 years and combining that experience with a camera and lens is like composing a visual symphony for me. Images snap and lock in place as I push the shutter button and the story comes together. It’s this dance that I want to perform for you and with you as we create your event or day.
If you bring me into your life for a wedding day or portrait session, I want to capture the essence of who you are in life. Whether we spend a few hours on a portrait or an entire day at a wedding, you are allowing me into your life during a special time and I want to honor that. I want to learn the important things in your life and bring those to bear through the lens.
